In order to guide the community engagement process, Council has developed a Community Engagement Strategy for the development of the Community Strategic Plan.

Our Place…Our Future – Community Strategic Plan Engagement Report
Provides a full report on the Community Engagement undertaken from 1 November – 16 December 2011. The report details the activities undertaken and the results, a summary of key issues and ideas and the Desired Outcome in the CSP that addresses the ideas/issue and/or staff comments.
In addition the report identifies the proposed activities, times and dates for Phase 2 of the community engagement process from April to June 2012.

Provides a summary and analysis of the data received from the Community Satisfaction Survey conducted as part of the Phase 1 Community Engagement process from 1 November – 16 December 2011.

Community Satisfaction Survey 2012
- In 2011, as part of the development of its Community Strategic Plan, Council undertook its first Community Satisfaction Survey.
- Council values your input and as part of our ongoing commitment to working with the community to build a brighter future for the Lithgow local government area and invite you once again to tell us a) how important various facilities and services are to you and b) your level of satisfaction with the facilities and services provided by Council.
- By participating in this survey you are contributing to the future development of our area. The survey is conducted annually to inform the development of short and long-term planning and is designed to provide important trend data on usage, community awareness and community priorities.
