Our Place, Our Future Community Strategic Plan

Our Place, Our Future is Lithgow City Council’s Community Strategic Plan (CSP). It sets out the community’s vision for the future of the Lithgow LGA.  It is the highest level of strategic planning undertaken by Council and is developed as a guide to inform policies, strategies, plans and actions throughout the city for the next 10+ years.  

At the end of each council term, we prepare a State of the Lithgow LGA Report to review our progress towards achieving the community’s vision 

Our shared vision for the Lithgow LGA is to be a centre of regional excellence that:  

  • Encourages community growth and development. 

  • Contributes to the efficient and effective management of the environment, community and economy for present and future generations.  

Everyone has a role to play. We'll continue to work with the community, local businesses and industry, government, agencies and partners to plan and deliver long-term change.
