The Household Chemical CleanOut is on this Sunday, 13 September at the Lithgow Solid Waste Facility between 9am and 12noon. If you have any old chemicals gathering dust in the shed or garage, this is your chance to get rid of them for FREE. You can dispose of household quantities (up to 20L or 20kg per waste type). Business-related and commercial quantities of chemicals are not accepted.
The lake is now a popular spot for fishing, kayaking, sailing, picnics and walking. The park area includes playgrounds, barbecues, picnic shelters, camping areas and an off-leash dog area, making it a favourite stop for locals, travellers and RV campers exploring the Lithgow region.
