The Seven Valleys Community Grants Program is now open, with funding available to support community-led projects across the Lithgow LGA. Council will be hosting three information sessions for residents who wish to learn more about the grants program. Register for Session 1 on Tuesday 29 September, 5pm – 6:30pm at Council.

Due to expected increases in traffic volumes on the Monday of the October long weekend and Monday/Tuesday following the end of school holidays and the 2026 Repco Bathurst 1000 the following road closures/detours will be in place.
5th, 12th and 13th October 2026 between 8am and 4pm.
The following roads will be open on 5th October but, may close on 12th and13th October (dependent upon traffic volume) between 8am and 4pm.
Council acknowledges the inconvenience this may cause some residents however; these detours are considered necessary to reduce impact on our local streets and improve traffic flow through the detours. We would appreciate your patience and encourage people to plan their travel during these times.
