Seven Valleys Major Event Sponsorship
Lithgow City Council is committed to supporting the development of vibrant, creative and innovative events that offer a significant contribution to the economic, social, and cultural life of the Seven Valleys.
The total funding pool for the Seven Valleys Major Events Sponsorship for FY26/27 is $40,000.
Applicants must demonstrate how their event will:
- Generate measurable benefits for the visitor economy, particularly through attracting visitors, increasing overnight stays, and showing potential for future growth and sustainability.
- Promote the Seven Valleys as a distinctive destination, enhance the region's event calendar, and contribute to community pride and positive regional identity.
- Support the priorities and outcomes of the Seven Valleys Destination Action Plan 2024-2030, including alignment with the region's strategic tourism and destination development goals.
Applications open on 18 September 2026 and close on 18 October 2026.
Sponsored events must be delivered between 31 December 2026 and 31 December 2027 and acquitted by 22 February 2028.
